I have a project created with myeclipse 7.0, and it uses the report jars (2.3 version). I am trying to check out/ use this on a new box with myeclipse 8.5. It is failing because I cannot get the 2.3 jars (the version in myeclipseide 8.5 appears to be 2.5.2). Is there a maven repository that carries the various versions of these jars so that I don’t have to essentially stay on myeclipse version 7 for the rest of the product’s life? I cannot update the software just because my ide changed.

    Thanks,
    Rob

    Hi Rob,

You can add BIRT 2.3.1 Libraries using the below steps:

    1) Right click on the project and select “Build Path–>Configure Build Path…”.
    2) It will open Properties wizard for that particular project and right side you’ll find “Libraries” tab in between “Projects” tab and “Order and Export” tab. Select Libraries tab.
    3) Click on “Add Library” button, It will open “Add Library” wizard.
    4) Select “MyEclipse Library” and click “Next” button.
    5) In the second page of Wizard, you’ll find all Libraries of MyEclipse, select “Report Web Library (MyEclipse 7.0 / BIRT 2.3.1)” by scrolling down or type “Report” in the text field available at the top.
    6) check the check box of Library you want to add to the project and click “Finish” button.

Please let me know If you need anything else.

    Thanks,
    Chakri Vedula.
