Can you give some more information?
1. Can you clarify when exactly you are getting this error? Can you list out the steps in detail to replicate this issue?
2. Are there any relevant errors logged in the log file located at workspace dir > .metadata > log?
3. Can you list out any third party plugins that you have added?

I am getting the same error, no additional info in the .metadata logs.
I'm using:
Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers.
Version: Indigo Service Release 1
Build id: 20110916-0149
on Ubuntu 11.10 32 bit with JDK 6.0.26
Any help on this is appreciated.

1) Can you please clarify if you are working with MyEclipse ? If yes then how did you install MyEclipse ?

2) Please let us know when exactly you are seeing this issue.

If you are not working with MyEclipse then I suggest you cross post this issue to Eclipse forums for better support.
