I installed a fresh Eclipse — and then a fresh MyEclipse (running Win 2000).

During the install I never got the “Accept new features” dialogue. After install, and restart, I do not have a choice of MyEclipse in the perspective. Nothing appears to choose in the Windows->perspectives nor the Windows->preferences, nor the windows->customize — no choices for MyEclipse anywhere.

However under the Help->About I do see the MyEclipse logo and when I choose plug-in details there are many MyEclipse entries.

Not sure what I can to do activate MyEclipse — I did the install a second time with the same results.

    Lee,
When you go to Window > Open Perspective > Other…, do you not see MyEclipse anywhere? If not please check your log file for errors:
    <workspace dir>\.metadata\.log file

Also what version of Eclipse and MyEclipse did you install? You can find this information from the Help > About dialog.

I have no .log file in the .metada directory.

    Eclipse version: Version: 3.0.0
    Build id: 200405290105

    MyEclipse: 3.7.101

    MyEclipse install file: EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_030800Beta1.exe

    Eclipse install file: eclipse-platform-3.0RC1-win32.zip

    Lee,
Thank you for the file names, this is the problem. You have to download either the Eclipse SDK or JDT for MyEclipse to work.
