Hi,

Where do I set that?

In RAD its a checkbox in the deployment descriptor for the EAR file, and digging around behind the scenes, its an attribute lurking in ibm.application-ext.xmi

Btw, Setting the shared session context enables servlets in different wars to see the same session.

No answer?

Unfortuantly, this is a show stopper for us.

Is there a way to set the shared session context for the WebSphere deployment descriptor? Have not seen an answer to this question and really would like to know. I haven't been able to find the information yet.

Thanks in advance.

brownj,

I am afraid we do not provide UI editor for XMI binding files. The dev team is looking at it as an enhancement to include in future versions.

Sorry for inconvenience caused.

brownj,

Yes, the current process is to manually add the xmi file to the META-INF folder.
Let us know if you have any issues.
