I have two cases where I want to create a read only iPhone and/or spring app from a few views. It would be nice if I could scaffold from a view for this purpose. They currently are not available when going through the wizard.

It may also be nice to be able to check off which letters you want to make available in the interface i.e select RU (read update) but not CD (create delete) or everything but delete.

I faked it out by temporarily creating tables from my views, scaffolding, and then deleting the tables and re-creating the views.

Just wan to be clear that when I say view I mean a database view. Currently only tables show in the scaffolding wizard.
