Hi
Could somebody let me know, the feature difference between MyEclipse Blue and Rational 7.5 please.

Though I have been using MyEclipseIde and I love the iDE, but the niceties of RAD7.5 (Trial) for Websphere 6.1/7 (JPA/EJB3/WS) developments is great and so easier, but expensive. Hence if the Blue edition is pretty similar to RAD7.5 and lot less expensive, I could request my managers to upgrade to Blue edition. Let me know.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks
Jag

Jag,

I've PM'ed you a comparison matriix to have a look at even though it's not specific to RAD 7.5 -- I haven't gotten a chance to mess with 7.5 yet.

We always encourage our users to do atleast a week long trial of both tools in their environments and see which one works for them; that's the only real way to know, we just provide different comparison materials to help narrow down areas to test with if you are interested.

Can only agree with that statement. It's a list of strong points, I presume, so why keep it secret from your potential customers? AFAICS it should be prominently on the ME site.

Not really sure, marketing just said to pass it out to whoever asked for it -- I think they are working on a more official web page that makes this process easier. I'm super-easy to work with, so I didn't pester them about why ;)

support-rkalla,

I would like a copy of the comparison matrix between MyEclipse Blue and RAD 7.5 as well. Additionally, I've searched the site over and I can't find the system specs for MyEclipse Blue. Could you provide me with this information or at least point me in the right direction? Thanks.
