I read a previous answer and, assuming I understood it, could not believe it.
There are GUI facilities (right click context menus) to do just about everything (browse data, add tables, etc) but it appears that I have to write and execute SQL in order to add a schema in the DB Browser view. Please clarify: surely there is a Schema setup wizard somewhere.

    hamiljf,

We only have the schema wizard for select databases, not all of them. This is due to the fact that schema creation can vary significantly from database to database and it is typically something that is customized to a much larger extent than possible thorough a simple wizard where SQL is preferred.

I will take this down as an enhancement request for Derby however; thank you for asking.

Thansk for the reply… no idea it was so difficult. I guess I’ll just have to write some SQL.

    hamiljf,

I have already filed a PR for the dev team.
