We are a RAD shop and in the process of evaluating MyEclipse Blue.

After some trial and error, I am able to get RAD projects imported and compiled.

There is one error left in projects that had JPA facet turned on in RAD:
This project has the JPA facet, but no JPA project could be created. See the error log for more details.

In the .log file, it says:
No JPA platform exists for the id: ‘webSpherePlatform_jpa2_0’. The JPA project was not created for project ‘chr-domain’. Ensure that the platform’s plugin has been added to this Eclipse installation.

I can not figure out how to resolve this after going through various menu entries. Any suggestions?

    Thanks you!

    alphaadp,

Sorry that you ran into this issue.

Can you answer some more questions for me to understand the issue better ?

    1) Can you share the Build ID from Help > About MyEclipse Blue Edition > Build ID ? Paste the Build ID here.

    2) Did you enhance the RAD project to work with MyEclipse Blue ? Here is an FAQ on the migration :
    https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/migrating-from-rad-to-blue/

    3) What kind of a project is it ? Is it Maven based ?

    4) Go to Help > MyEclipse Configuration Center > Dashboard. Can you check under MyEclipse features ‘Hibernate/JPA Support for MyEclipse’ is checked and installed ? If not then please check it, apply the changes and follow the wizard.

Let me know how this works for you.
