Why is it not possible to create a server runtime library list? If you do this thru User Libraries then all of those jars are deployed to the WAR which is not the desired outcome. This needs to act like the Java Runtime library entry.

JBoss development is very difficult to do without being able to do this. I am trying to develop a JPA/Hibernate Spring app and am getting deployment errors because JBoss already has Hibernate libraries.

mangelo123 ,

We don't define server runtimes in MyEclipse. You can add them as user libraries.
You can change the library deployment policies to not include the User libraries during deployment.

Right click on project > Properties > MyEclipse > Web > Deployment to make changes to Web project deployment policies. For EAR projects, right click on project > Properties > MyEclipse > EAR.

Take a look at the Advanced Features section in this tutorial for clear understanding about the deployment policies :

Let us know how this works for you.
