Hi,

I am getting a following message The archive: /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-gcj-4.3-1.5.0.0/lib/tools.jar which is referenced by the classpath, does not exist.
Could someone explain me the problem. I am using ubuntu os and eclipse helios.I am waiting for your answer.

1) Can you recheck if your java version is not corrupted and the said jar file exists in that location ?

2) Do you have the /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-gcj-4.3-1.5.0.0/lib/tools.jar added to the system classpath ?

I suggest you post this issue to Eclipse forums for better support as you are using Eclipse Helios.
