    Hi,
We would to migrate our diagramms from Borland Together 2008 to MyEclipse9.1.
We exported to XMI for UML2.1. But when we import this XMI file into MyEclipse, we can’t open and visualize them.

    Alex.

    aucpmsp,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue with MyEclipse. I could not replicate the issue at my end.

Can you answer some more questions for me to understand the issue better ?

    1) When exporting to XMI did you select the 2.1 version ?

    2) Can you try the steps given below:

    1) Create a web project.
    2) Create an UML2 diagram and add a Class with name “SamClass”.
    3) Right click on the project and select “Export–>UML2–>XMI 2.1 (MyEclipse)” and click “Next” button.
    4) Give the destination and select the .uml and click “Finish” button.
    5) Now create another web project and try to import the XMI file into the new web project using File > Import > UML2 > XMI 2.1.

    3) Make sure the files which you are importing has the extension .xmi.

Let me know how this works for you.

    project using File > Import > UML2 > XMI 2.1.
    and this works.
It,s means that the import/export from MyEclipse to MyEclipse work well, like from Borland Together to Borland Together.

    3) Please see also the issue about reuse UML Objects in MyEclipse.

    aucpmsp ,

    1) Can you send us the xmi file for me to have a look? Here is an FAQ on how to attach files to the posts : https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshooting-how-to-upload-attachments-on-forum/

    2) Your post about reuse of objects has been answered. Please refer :
