I am trying to create a new UML project in MyEclipse 10 Professional (Windows version) and following the tutorial in the help system, when attempt to create a new UML (either 1 or 2) project the file-navigator is grayed out, and even if enter a valid path in the “Enter or select the parent folder” text-field, the message returned is “The specified project does not exist”. I am trying to create a new UML project, not to open an existing one.

I appreciate if anyone has advice how to fix this problem.

    thank you.

    tbrauer01,

Sorry to hear you are running into issues. I am afraid, it is not clear from your post as to the exact issue you are facing. Could you please answer below queries to help me investigate further –
    1. Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and copy and paste the same here
    2. You mention referring to tutorial. Could you share the weblink?
    3. Please attach screenshot of the issue to help me get a visual
    4. Clear your .log file located at [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.log, replicate the issue and attach file here
