    Hi guys,

When I opened MyEclipse I tried to rename a .xhtml file but is taking too long to do this process.

    I’m using MyEclipse 9:
    MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench

    Version: 9.1
    Build id: 9.1-20110701

What can I do to make this faster?

    maiconramones ,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue with MyEclipse. I did see a delay when renaming the xhtml in MyEclipse version 9.1. I could not replicate the issue with MyEclipse version 10.

Can you answer some more questions for us ?

    1) Is your workspace huge? How many projects do you have in the workspace ?

    2) I suggest you install MyEclipse version 10 and check if the issue persists. You can download it from this link :
    http://myeclipseide.com/index.php?name=Recommend_Us&req=Download&version=ME

Alternatively you can use Pulse to install MyEclipse 10. Here is an FAQ on how to install through Pulse :
    http://myeclipseide.org/PNphpBB2-viewtopic-t-25976.html

The FAQ is based on earlier versions of MyEclipse. Choose ‘Eclipse 3.7 – Indigo’ for MyEclipse 10 and follow the steps accordingly.

    3) If you are still seeing the issue, please clear the contents of the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log , try to rename the file and copy paste the contents of the .log file here for us to investigate further.

Let us know how it works for you.

    Hi,

I have 27 projects in my workspace.

I have only 5 projects open.
