I recently made a change in myeclipse to set one project back to jdk1.5 (everything else is on the default 1.6). Now, every time I restart Myeclipse, all of my projects have reverted back to jdk1.5.

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. I am afraid I cannot replicate the same at my end.

Please answer below queries to help me investigate further -
1. Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details > [Copy to Clipboard] and paste the same here
2. How did you modify the specific project's compiler settings to JDK 1.5? Please provide detailed steps.
3. Clear your .log file located at [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.log, replicate the issue and attach file here

Without going through all the requested documentation, could you just tell me how to set my myeclipse so that all projects will always use my jdk1.6. I will not ever change one to jdk1.5 again.

Please be specific.

I will reinstall if necessary.

To set default JDK 1.6, open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on Window > Preferences > Java > Installed JREs and select JRE 1.6 as default JRE.
