Attempting to open a JSP with the MyEclipse Visual JSF Designer returns a NullPointerException. This is with OS X 10.8. I read a thread with similar question in MyEclipse forum which stated the JSF Visual Designer does not work on 64-bit operating system. Is this correct or is there a way to fix this issue? I can provide the error text or any other information if needed. Thank you.

tbrauer01,

The visual designers are not available in 64-bit machines. You can install 32-bit carbon installation and set the experimental flag -Dmac.experimental=true in the .ini file.

Take a look at this FAQ for detailed information : http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2-viewtopic-t-28643.html

Let us know how it works for you.
