when in 10.1 I try to do ‘inspect’ on the expression that has a static method, I get an error message:
” ‘NameOfTheClass’ can not be resovled to a variable ” where ‘NameOfTheClass’ is the class of the static method being inspected

it used to work fine in 6.6 from where I migrated…

    Thanks for the help!

    Mike,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. I could not replicate it at my end.

Here is a related issue about java inspector ignoring static imports in Eclipse Indigo. Please take a look:
    http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/325767/841416/

Can you please list the steps in detail you are following to help us replicate the issue at our end?

There are no really steps – it hapens all the time on statics…
can it be because I’m pointing to the workspace that I used with v6.6?

how can I debug the issue?

    msmott ,

Can you please switch to a new workspace, create a new project and check if the issue exists ?
