I recently upgraded from MyEclipseForSpring 8.6 to 10.

I had been using the Flex Builder Plugin version 4 successfully.

Since the upgrade Flex and Actionscript are not being recognised properly by the IDE (tried with both the Flex Builder 4 and more recent 4.6 plugins).

If I add Flex Project Type to a newly scaffolded project I can work with MXML files ok but Actionscript files have no outline, no autocomplete. If I instead add Actionscript project type I can work with Actionscript files but MXML files cant show outlines, cant show design view etc.

    mrum,

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Have you added Flex and ActionScript as plugin to ME4S 10.1? Could you provide below details –
    1. Open MyEclipse4Spring IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse >Installation Summary > Installation Details > [Copy to Clipboard] and paste the same here
    2. Clear your .log file located at [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.log, replicate the issue and attach file here
    3. Please verify that flex and actionscript plugin added to ME4S 10.1 are compatible with Eclipse 3.7.2
    4. Open Window > Preferences and search “content assist” and check if the content assist preferences are set correctly for flex and actionscript.
    5. Open MyEclipse Configuration Center. Choose Dashboard tab. Under Updates Available look for Flex / ActionScript updates if available. Click on the arrow icon next to updates available to re-check for updates. If they are already available, please select the checkbox and apply the updates by clicking on the [Apply x changes] button under *Pending Changes* and follow the wizard till completion. When prompted, please choose to restart the IDE.

Let me know how this works for you.
