Hi,
I have just upgraded to MyEclipse 10.1 from the version 8.6.
My project is a web application. We used Maven for the project management and Spring for the back-end.
I have built the project successfully with Maven Install.
After that I launched the project on jetty-hightide-7.1.6.v20100715.
This exception appeared:
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanDefinitionStoreException: Invalid bean definition with name 'passwordEncoder' defined in ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/classes/actioncenters-security.xml]: Could not resolve placeholder 'security.hash.salt'

My best guess at the moment is some difference in Spring support between MyEclipse 10.1 and MyEclipse 8.6 has caused this problem because nothing changed in my project except for this IDE change.

Could you please help me out with this?

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Could you provide below information -

1. I need to see the complete error log. Please clear your .log file located at [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.log, replicate the issue and attach file here
2. Could you list the libs added to your project build path?
3. Expand your project in the package explorer and attach a screenshot of the same
4. Could you try this - right click on your project > Maven4MyEclipse > Update Project Configuration and verify if this helps.
5. Thank you for the configuration details. I would also need to look at your installation details. Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details > [Copy to Clipboard] and paste the same here
