Post subject: Convert to AspectJ project menu missing  PostPosted: Aug 15, 2012 - 11:01 PM

Hi I am using MyEclipse Version: 10.0 Build id: 10.0-20111028 on Windows 7. I installed AspectJ Development Tools (AJDT) version 2.2.1 (should be compatible with eclipse 3.7). It seems to have installed properly... but when I try to convert a web project to a aspectJ project I cannot see that option in the menu anywhere. What am I missing?

rsingh03,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. We do not provide intrinsic support for third party plugins. However I checked installing it at my end and I see the option missing.

I came across a thread which mentioned about the missing option in Eclipse Indigo for AJDT 2.1 :
http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/351836/

Can you please check if the AJDT 2.2.1 works as expected in Eclipse 3.7 as MyEclipse is based on Eclipse 3.7 ?

rsingh03,

Open MyEclipse IDE, go to Window > Preferences > General > Capabilities > Advanced > expand MyEclipse Standard Tools > check 'WTP Deprecated' and see if the option to convert the project is visible or not.

Let us know how it works for you.
