    Hi Folks,

Just for the admins, I use MyEclipse in my work (Company License) but created a personal profile to post here (Bank Holiday today 🙂 )

Anyway, when I use MyEclipse Hibernate tools, it generates DAO files, which include “save methods”. When I use standard Eclipse (like Helios, Juno etc) with both the 3.2 and 3.3 tools, I get ‘Home’ files, which have “persist methods” but no save. You would then use the save methods on the session.

The reason I’ve come across this is because as I’m at home at present, I was playing around and noticed the difference to the files generated at my workplace (where I’m using MyEclipse).

Is this a hibernate version thing, or a MyEclipse thing?

    Many Thanks,
    JB.

    Jay,

You mention using 3.2 and 3.3 tools – are you referring to Hibernate or JBoss tools here or something else? Could you please clarify?

MyEclipse does integrate and customize a different version of Hibernate Tools so, yes – the methods that you see in MyEclipse could be different from those you would see using JBoss tools; it isn’t related to the Hibernate version.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have further questions.
