Parts of thise seem like they're going to be a great improvement, but menus, cool bars and menu bars are a bit of a mystery.

We are looking into adding tutorials related to SWT/JFace in future.

Ironically, I'd found that link on my own and it has nothing on the problem I'm having with MenuManager. Not one word.

That's ok. I do think your implementation of the designer is not generating the code for the MenuManager correctly. I'll send screen shots in email later.
