I’ve been using Maven via command line for years, after being so horribly disappointed at the way it was integrated into MyEclipse. Today, I decided to give it another try after installing 10.7, but didn’t get very far.

I have, what I believe, is a fairly standard multi-module Maven project. I tried to import it as “Existing Maven Projects”, selected to folder with the aggregator pom.xml in it as the root folder, but get an error message saying “Path for project must have only one segment”.

I’ve attached the error log, and the version I’ve got installed is:

    Version: 10.7
    Build id: 10.7-20121026

What’s might be the problem this time?

    laurilehtinen79,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. I have escalated it to a dev team member.
They will get back to you.

    laurilehtinen79,

I have looked into the code and thanks to the stack trace you’ve provided us, I can tell that such an error may be thrown, if the project name specified in the pom.xml contains slashes. However, without seeing the configuration file, I cannot tell much more. Could you please send us a sample of the pom.xml, so we can fix that bug for the next release of MyEclipse?

    laurilehtinen79,

This problem is now fixed in the 10.7.1 update. You should be able to get the update from the Configuration Center. You can also download a 10.7.1 installer from our downloads pages.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for letting us know about the problem.
