MyEclipse Spring 10.6 seems to have the kind of wizzards that we are looking for to speed up our Spring web service development. The “MyEclipse for Spring Bootcamp (2 of 5) – General Purpose Spring Tools – YouTube” is exactly the kind of Spring developer tools we are looking for. But the tutorial doesn’t demonstrate the final code. And there is an error anyway in the form of a red-x for the org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSource.

We also notice that MyEclipse Spring 10.6 doesn’t support WAS 7.0?

We were only able to install MyEclipse Spring 10.6 using the Custom Installer because the full download version failed with a “install error” but no details.

We also notice there is no MyEclipse Spring 2013?.
And there isn’t a MyEclipse Bling 2013 either.

Please help us with these issues so we can evaluate your products and select the best choice for our needs, either MyEclipse Blue, Spring or Bling. Thanks.

    Simon,

You need the Bling product for WAS 7 support. I responded to your questions in more detail here:

I responded to your questions in your other thread, let’s continue further discussion there.
