Recently installed Blue 2013 as a 32 bit app on Win 7 64 bit platform. I wanted to try out the Ajax Browser features etc. that I could not use on my Blue 10.7 64 bit install. I also wanted to use the Visual JSP developer. When I tried to open a page that edits fine over in Blue 10.7 jsp editor or in the Blue 2013 normal jsp editor I get the following:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: URLDecoder: Illegal hex characters in escape (%) pattern – For input string: “=c”

Just uninstalled the 32 bit install and replaced with the 64 bit install. Same problem. Went back to the Blue 10.7 64 bit install that I have been using and it seems to work.

    tmurray,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. I have filed a PR for this one and the dev team will look into it.
Alternatively you can use the ‘MyEclipse JSP editor’ instead of ‘MyEclipse visual JSP designer’ for editing the JSP in MyEclipse blue 2013.

The fix for this is now available in the SR1 release. This can be downloaded from our site or the in-product update may be used. Update sites should be available later this week.
