I am receiving an “Cannot find registered ICEfaces Facelets library 300” error when trying to add ICEfaces Capabilities to a Web Project which is J2EE6/JSR286/JSF2/ICEfaces3 project being deployed to Websphere7 portal server.

I have installed the latest ICEfaces plugin (IF-EE-3.2.0-1.8.2.P06-IM-EE-1.2.0-MyEclipse-10-plugins).

Is there a library missing from the plugin or an issue with this plugin instalation?

    dseppele,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. I could not download the latest ICEFaces plugin from the ICEFaces site.It looks like the download option is only available for ICEFaces EE registered members.

Our latest release MyEclipse 2013, supports ICEFaces 3.0. I suggest you give it a try.You can download MyEclipse 2013 from here : https://www.myeclipseide.com/module-htmlpages-display-pid-4.html
The license you have is valid for MyEclipse 2013 too.

Please give us few more details if you want us to investigate further :

    1. Please share the MyEclipse Version and Build ID details from Help > About MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench ?

    2. Can you please tell us how you have installed the plugin?

    3. Do you see the same issue when trying to add the ICEFaces capabilities to a new simple web project ?

    4. Copy paste the contents of the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log for us to take a look.

The error I am receiving is using the current MyEclipse Bling with the plugin supplied by the software configuration by Genuitec. I also receive the same issue when using the latest plugin download from ICEfaces. The download from ICEfaces is the same as the one currently supplied through the software configurator. Still have the same error.

    dseppele,

Thank you for the details. I could replicate the issue at my end on MyEclipse 10. I have filed a PR for the dev team to look into it.

As suggested in my previous reply, please try MyEclipse 2013. To add ICEFaces Facet in MyEclipse 2013, right click on the web project > MyEclipse > Project Facets[Capabilities] > Install ICEfaces Facet. Follow the wizard and you can see the Facets libraries listed under ICEfaces Library v3.0.0 in the ‘Configure Project Libraries’ dialog.

Let us know if you see any issues.
