From the MyEclipse Database view I select all of my tables, start the JPA reverse engineer. It starts going through the tables and then I get the dreaded “Invalid Thread Access” error which apparently has been around for quite some time.

    NEED A FIX ASAP!!

    Here is MyEclipse config:

    mangelo,

This is an old bug, but it should be fixed in the version of MyEclipse you are running.

Could you please clear your error log, reproduce the problem and then attach or paste the error log to this post?

Without looking at the error log, I have a couple of suggestions
    1) Does your project have a persistence.xml file? What is its project relative path?
    2) Is your persistence.xml file open during the reverse engineering? If not, can you try keeping it open?
    3) There is an option that allows you turn off the need to update persistence.xml. If the error is here, then disabling it should get you through the RE process without errors, but it must be fixed, of course so your error log is crucial.

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
