I am still trying to get through the JSF tutorial in 2013 and have just noticed the faces-config editor (flow page) has lost the left palette to add a JSP page – the tutorial mentions adding a JSP page outside the editor – but the wizard is missing from the package manager ‘New’ option as well?

This seems to be going backward, not forward – is there any reason why these wizards have been removed from 2013?

The help shows them as they were in MyEclipse 10, with the Flow/Design/Source tabs – is 2013 a beta?

Ignore my previous post – I quit ME, restarted it and (all) the Wizards are now there…

    Memory/load problem perhaps

I got everything to work in the end but the tutorial is pretty inaccurate – a lot of things have changed with 2013, do you want me to try and outline the inaccuracies?

If I had no experience at all I think I would have been struggling…

I agree, Chris and we need to get that tutorial corrected. No need to point out the deficiencies but thanks for the offer; we can do that by going through the tutorial in detail. I suspect this one was put together with an early internal release of MyEclipse 2013 and there have been some changes since.

Thanks for reporting this and sorry for the inconvenience.
