It seems that, at least once a month, my project fails to load. It gets stuck at “Loading org.eclipse.jdt.debug”.

It never finishes and never gives me an error message. I am simply forced to create yet another workspace, import the project to the new workspace and delete the old one.

And, yes, I have tried opening up the IDE with the -clean option.

    Please fix!

    rdgrimes,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

Can you please answer some questions to help us investigate further :
    1. Can you please share the Installation Details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details ?
    2. How did you install MyEclipse? Using all-in-one installer / custom installer / pulse / update site on top of eclipse classic?
    3. Clear the contents of the .log file located at [workspace]/.metadata/.log , replicate the issue and attach the .log file here to help us investigate further.

It’s not that predictable. It’s not something I can replicate. As I said in my original post, it happens about once a month.

    rdgrimes,

    Thanks for the details provided.

To help us investigate the issue, can you please attach the log file of the last workspace where the issue has occurred.

The latest release of MyEclipse, MyEclipse 2013 (formerly known as MyEclipse 11) is now available. If you are having a licence for MyEclipse 10.x or any previous versions, then the same licence can be used for MyEclipse 2013, as our licences are time based not version based. For more information on MyEclipse 2013 and download links please take a look at this thread – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/myeclipse-2013-is-now-available/
