Is there any documentation anywhere describing what components of web.xml can be edited and what will be overwritten when using Spring DSL in myeclipse?

I am afraid there is no documentation which specifically addresses the web.xml changes for Spring DSL.

Following on from this, could you give me help on this problem.
I originally build a scaffolded web project for some database tables but primarily this was a quick start to a project which will be driven by my own JSP’s/javascript and Ajax responses. Basically from what has been scaffolded, I was intereested in the REST calls but not the main skyway data component.When I add a JSP, I am finding that I see the response from the scaffolding for data entry and my JSP content is added to this page. I tried to remove the skyway configuration from web.xml to fix this issue but it gets added back in when rebuilding the project. However I could not see a way of removing this. Is there anything in the project that needs to be altered.
