We are attempting to upgrade our application, which currently runs on WAS 8.0.0.5, from J2EE 1.4 to Java EE 6.

Via research, we have found options to perform the specifications upgrade using RAD (Right-click the project that you want to upgrade, and select Java EE > Specifications Upgrade wizard).

Does My Eclipse Blue provide any support for specification migration (e.g. XMI to XML file conversion)? We currently use 10.7.1 Blue, and have not been able to find any similar support.

I have filed this an enhancement request for our WebSphere team. We will research this and look at providing this functionality in a future release.

If there are any specific conversions that you are interested in, please let us know and we can prioritize accordingly.
