I am trying to use the AnyEdit plugin with MyEclipse – http://andrei.gmxhome.de/anyedit/

I went and installed in under MyEclipse Configuration Center and it said the plugin was already part of MyEclipse and is listed under My Software – http://screencast.com/t/Hb99VPAj

But I can’t find the Convert context menu to use the plugin anywhere. Advice?

    jthomas8,

    1) You can find the ‘Convert’ conext menu option by right clicking on any editor. For example, open a .jsp file in any of the JSP editor and right click on the editor to see the ‘Convert’ context menu option. (Please take a look at the attached screenshot for a visual reference).

    2) If you cannot find the ‘Convert’ context menu option, can you please check whether ‘Anyedit tools’ plugin is installed in MyEclipse ? Go to Help > About MyEclipse Enterprise workbench > Installation details > Plugins and check if Anyedit tools plugin is listed. ?

    3) If the plugin is not listed in the above step, Can you please make sure whether ‘AnyEdit tools’ is listed under MyEclipse Configuraion center > Software > Software updates available section ? If yes, then select/check ‘AnyEdit tools’, click on ‘Apply changes’ under Pending changes section and follow the wizard to install the plugin.

Let us know how it works for you.
