    Hi,

This morning I installed MyEclipse 2014 and then attempted to add Maven support and received an error that indicates that the jar file has been tampered with. I am running Windows 64 bit and have included the error message and my configuration summary below. Any help that you can provide is appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Rodney

    rodneyvw,

Thank you for raising this issue. We could replicate the issue at our end.

Can you please let us know if you have installed MyEclipse 2014 using the offline installer or the custom installer?

If you are using the custom installer, I suggest you download the offline installer and select ‘All ‘ components instead of trying to install Maven support separately.

Before reinstalling MyEclipse, I suggest you rerun the installer, uninstall MyEclipse 2014 and then install using the offline installer.

Let us know how it works for you.

    Hi,

I did use the custom installer. I will follow your instructions to uninstall and reinstall.

    Thanks,
    Rodney

    Rondey,

I would just like to mention that this issue has been fixed and you would now be able to install Maven (or any other component) without having to follow the steps mentioned above.

We fixed the issue earlier today, thank you for taking the time to report the problem.
