When deploying a EAR project, I get the following error:
Error while saving XML contents to file C:\Documents and Settings\myuserid\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\com.genuitec.eclipse.ast.deploy.core\deployments.xml
C:\Documents and Settings\myuserid\workspace\.metadata\.pluginsI am running MyEclipse as an administrator.
What is interesting is that, under Windows 7, there is no “documents and settings” folder. It is called Users by default. I see the same reference in the Workspace path. Why is MyEclipse using this old Windows XP folder name, instead of Users?

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.
1. Can you please clarify if you are working with a workspace that is imported from an XP setup?
2. Can you please switch to a new workspace, import the project, redefine your server connector and check if the issue persists?
3. If you do not see the issue with a new workspace, and if time permits, can you please search the old workspace metadata for the location?
