    Hi,

We are evaluating MyEclipse blue with plans to migrate from RAD8. I migrated RAD8 project to Blue and tried to do ejbdeploy. We are using WAS 7.0.0.21 as our runtime. When i do ejbDeploy the stubs are going into .ejbDeploy folder. I want to change this and want to put into different folder. In RAD we had option to do this and I don’t see it in Blue.

    eelow are the installation details

    esundararajan,

I am afraid right now there is no option to change the location of the stubs generated by EJB Deploy tool from the default .ejbDeploy folder.

Is there any specific reason why you want to place the stubs in a different folder?

    Thanks for quick reply.

We have one folder where we keep all our sources in. This way it is easy for us to use build scripts and deployment. But now if we use Blue then we need to manually copy files and put into this folder or change the build script.

    esundararajan,

The EJBDeploy needs to clear the output folder, so even if you change the location of EJB Stubs, you will not be able to use a single folder for the source code.
I am afraid, you will have to change the build scripts.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Ok. Thanks we can live with it. There are other issues which we are facing and I have created separate thread for it. If you can look and provide your suggestion it will help us to decide to take MyEclipse route or RAD route.

    esundararajan,

Sorry that you are seeing issues with MyEclipse. I am afraid I do not see any other thread discussing the issues you are seeing apart from this one.

Can you please recheck and point us to the thread ?

    Swapna,

You replied to my previous post and I forgot to add a watch to the post, hence was thinking it was not replied. Thanks.
