    Hi,

I am following the tutorial “Developing JAX-WS Web Services …” at http://www.myeclipseide.com/documentation/quickstarts/webservices_jaxws/

I created a webservice “WebServiceProject”. I followed all the steps exactly but receiving the following error…

    pvenna,

The tutorials are just to help you get started and you should be able to get it working with minor changes. I couldn’t replicate the issue after following the same steps mentioned in the tutorial and then deploying to WebLogic 12c server.

Can you please answer some more queries to help us investigate further :
    1) Can you please share your MyEclipse installation details from MyEclipse > Installation summary > Installation details ?
    2) Can you please mention the application server name and version in which you are trying to deploy the webservice project?
    3) Can you please clarify whether the webservice project is running successfully after deploying to the application server outside of MyEclipse ?

    2) Can you please mention the application server name and version in which you are trying to deploy the webservice project?
    BEA Weblogic 10.3

    3) Can you please clarify whether the webservice project is running successfully after deploying to the application server outside of MyEclipse ?
I am new to Webservices and have not yet tried deploying it outside MyEclipse.

I do not think it is the problem with MyEclipse, as one of our team members is able to do it but it is failing with everyone else.

It is surprising that you could not replicate the problem because I am certain something is missing in the instructions.
Please let me know if you have done anything different apart from what is instructed out in the tutorial.

I had repeated the steps several times creating several Web service projects and the problem is consistent.

Any help would be appraciated because I what bthis get going.

    Thanks.

    pvenna,

    Thanks for the details provided.

I didn’t make any changes to the instructions given in the tutorial. I suspect the issue seems to be with Weblogic 10.3 configuration. So I suggest you cross post on web logic forums for any solution / support on this.

As mentioned in my earlier response that I couldn’t replicate the issue on Weblogic 12c server, so I will download and configure Weblogic 10.3 server at my end and try to replicate the issue.
