I am upgrading to MyEclipse 2014 on Windows 8 from MyEclipse 10 (version 10.7.1). Previously I had setup multiple debug configurations of the JBoss servers with different arguments for testing JBoss 7.1.0.CR1 and JBoss EAP 6.2.

In MyEclipse 2014, I open the Debug Configuration window and select New Launch Configuration to create my new server configuration.

However on the Server tab, when I select the “Add as server” check box my new configuration is not being show in the Servers window which is how it works in MyEclipse10.

Is this a bug or is there a setting that I am missing?

    Thanks

    pcable,

Can you please follow these steps to create a new launch configuration for Jboss :
    1) Navigate to Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Servers > Jboss > Jboss 7.x > click on ‘Browse’ and select the Jboss 7 home directory > Select Enable and click Apply.
    2) Navigate to Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Servers > Jboss > Jboss 7.x > launch > Click ‘Create launch configuration’, which opens ‘Debug configuration’ window
    3) Make all the necessary changes in ‘Debug configuration’ window and click Apply and close. Clicking on Apply will add the server to the servers view.

Hope this helps and let us know how it works for you.
