If I’m trying to delete just space characters in a Java file I am constantly slowed down by the JPA Java Change Event Handler. How can I turn this off? If I am trying to delete a bunch of characters and hold down the delete key to clear out some stuff I regularly run over because of the delay that this handler adds.

Any way to not have this thing called on every freaking character?

    Hi,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. I could not replicate the issue at my end. We fixed a known issue with JPA Project Change Event Handler job which happens on every save. The fix will be available with MyEclipse 2015 GA release due for end of May 2014.

1.Can you please clarify that it is really on every character pressed? If yes, can you please let us know if you have any additional software or third party plugins installed?

    2. Have you installed any plugin to save the files automatically during edit? Also share the MyEclipse Installation Details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.

    3. Can you please also prepare a screencast or some screenshots to help us get a visual of the issue? Please also include the maximized ‘Progress’ view.
