celestianMemberI recently upgraded from myeclipse 10 to 2014 and having some growing pains.
I make use of the Matisse Form feature and I can’t seem to get those to work in 2014. I can run version 10 and it still works (new->Matisse Form or load the form and it has the design and source modes).
I was going to check that my subscription options were ok but … Windows->Prefs->MyExclipse doesn’t exist (subscription was said to be located there in the docs I found here).
Any pointers?
support-pradeepMembercelestian,
Matisse4MyEclipse is removed from MyEclipse 2014 in favor of Window Builder (called “Swing Designer for MyEclipse” in our product component).
Please check the following topic for details on how Matisse can be re-added to MyEclipse 2014 –
https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/myeclipse-2014-and-matisse/Regarding Subscription Information, Can you please switch to a new workspace and check whether you can see the MyEclipse preferences under Window > Preferences ? If not, please clarify how did you install MyEclipse 2014 ? Also mention your OS details and version ?
Alternatively, you can check your subscription information from MyEclipse (menu) > Subscription Information.
Hope this helps and let us know how it works for you.

I’ll follow up on the link you provided (and experiment with the other tool) and get back with how it goes.
As to the install of 2014, it’s on windows 8.1. Didn’t do anything special just ran the installer. I did have the existing profiles for .myeclipse and AppData/Local/etc from my previous installs.

No 3rd party installs at all.
I just mentioned prefs because this is a new system and I copied the myexclipse prefs for windows into my new windows setup before installing so I wouldn’t lose them.
These:
C:\Users\celestian\.myeclipse
C:\Users\celestian\AppData\Local\MyEclipse Enterprise WorkbenchLooking into those now it doesn’t seem like they contain much of anything.
I copied my old install to the new system then installed 2014 on top of that.
Here is a link to the image you requested:

When creating “new” in the project/src there is no “Form” option and old .form files open as text. I’m guessing it has something to do with my subscription options not working?
celestianMemberSo I went back, removed the current install and then installed it in it’s own new clean directory. That seems to have cleared most everything up.
Now to get used to the differences in how everything looks 🙂
support-swapnaModeratorcelestian,
Glad that you got it working.
