    Hi

I recently installed MyEclipse Blue 2014 and have been trying to run an existing web project on JBoss 5. In MyEclipse Blue 10 I had no issues, but with 2014 the web project’s dependent projects are not being copied across to the exploded war file classes directory. So every time I start up the server I get NoClassDefinitionExceptions for the missing dependent project classes.

In 2014 there is no longer any access to control Smart deployment like there was in 10. I have tried selecting the projects in the new Project-Properties-Project References but this has made no difference.

Any ideas before I revert back to 10?

    clairesimpson,

Deployment of applications is now transparently handled through the Deployment Assembly mechanism. Use the project’s deployment assembly property page to precisely control the deployment of your project’s resources if you need more control. Right click on your project and navigate to Properties > MyEclipse > Deployment Assembly page.

Please read this document for an overview of some of the key changes starting in 2013 and later versions – http://docs.myeclipseide.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.genuitec.myeclipse.doc%2Fhtml%2Fgettingstarted%2Fme_2013%2Findex.html&cp=1_0

Let us know if you have any further questions on MyEclipse.
