I’ve been having a tough time getting ME 10.6 to work with Ivy 2.2. I went to the Configuration Center/Software tab, and added it as an update site, using the URL http://www.apache.org/dist/ant/ivyde/updatesite, and after submitting it’ll appear in list of Personal Sites but with message ‘No repository found at [url I entered] ‘

Found a post from a couple of years ago which recommended putting the appropriate jars in the dropins/features and dropins/plugins folders, but same error message. Important to get this working as people in my office using Eclipse/IntelliJ/Netbeans have not had an issue getting it to run.

    howard.leicht,

I could install the plugin using this update site url – http://www.apache.org/dist/ant/ivyde/updatesite

Make sure there are no leading or trailing spaces in the update site url. From the update site url you mentioned in your post, it looks like there is comma at the end which is causing the trouble. Make sure you remove the comma at the end of the URL and check if the plugin features are listed in personal sites section. For reference, please take a look at this link for more information about Apache ivy update site url.

Alternatively, you could install the Apache ivy plugin from Eclipse marketplace. Navigate to Help > Eclipse marketplace, search for Apache Ivy, click Install and follow the wizard to install the plugin.

Our latest version is MyEclipse 2014, based on Eclipse Kepler (4.3). I recommend you download and install MyEclipse 2014 alongside your existing MyEclipse 10.6, to take advantage of many bug fixes and enhancements we made since the MyEclipse 10.x release. If you are currently holding a license for MyEclipse, then the same license can be used for MyEclipse 2014 too, as our license are time based not version based. Please take a look at this link for more information on MyEclipse 2014.

Let us know how it works for you.
