Went to debug yesterday and found that the icons (resume, step over, step into etc have gone from the top icon area. Now only in the run menu. Very difficult to debug as there seem to be no keyboard shortcuts.

The icons were there, I have done no config changes .

2014 Spring edition, build 12.0.0-20131202, MAC OSX 10.9.4

Please help

    Hi,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

MyEclipse for Spring 2014 is based on Eclipse Kepler and in Kepler , users have reported issues with missing debug buttons on the global menu and it wouldn’t apply or save changes from Customize Perspective. Here is the link : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13436337/eclipse-juno-no-debug-toolbar

You can try deleting the workbench settings file workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.e4.workbench/workbench.xmi and start the MyEclipse IDE. The Debug buttons will show up in the global menu.

Alternatively, you can also display the Debug toolbar by selecting the ‘Show Debug Toolbar’ as shown in this screenshot :

This issue is fixed in MyEclipse for Spring 2015.

Let us know how it works for you.

On the main menu bar, select Window,
    from window, select SHOW TOOLBAR
all your missing tools icons will display
