I’m unable to install egit 3.0.3 under ME 2015
This does not happen in ME 2014attaching screenshots to show what happens when I try to install egit 3.0.3 under ME 2015
If I confirm after “update my installation to be compat…”, it actually ends up uninstalling ME 2015

MyEclipse 2015 ships with EGit 3.4.1 by default, so you no longer need to manually install EGit in MyEclipse 2015. (Note – MyEclipse 2014 also includes EGit 3.1.0 by default)
You can configure EGit settings from Window > Preferences > Team > Git. To create/access EGit repositories, you need to open Window > Open perspective > Other > Git.
