I have MyEclipse 2014 installed, but I don’t like the directory that it installed to and want to install it again to a new directory. However, I don’t want to uninstall the current version until I’m sure I have everything setup for my project and working correctly with the new installation. When I run the installer I only have three options Run, Repair, and Uninstall. In MyEclipse 10 I ran into a similiar situation and was able to install to a new location without first uninstalling. What has changed in MyEclipse 2014 which prevents this and is there a work around?
I did notice there are some . files under the Windows User directory which I really do not like, and prefer an Eclipse install to be all contained in one directory, can this be changed also and these files moved?

    Thanks,
    Smitty

    Smitty,

MyEclipse 2014 installation is powered by Genuitec’s Secure Delivery Center.

The “.deliverycenter.installs” file which is located in the user’s home directory contains the installation location of the MyEclipse editions that have been installed.

To install another copy, please edit the .deliverycenter.installs file and delete the MyEclipse 2014 entry. Save it and re run the installer. You can now install MyEclipse 2014 to a different location.

The .files in the user directory contain metadata about the installation and configuration of MyEclipse and their location cannot be changed.

Let us know if you see any issues.
