    Thanks,

    Bhaskar,

MyEclipse Blue supports Websphere development. There is no OSX support for Websphere.

Check this link for detailed system requirements for Websphere : http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27006921

You can work with either the Professional/Standard or Spring editions of MyEclipse 2014 or MyEclipse 2015 CI, our unified product with Professional/Standard/Spring license.

Can you please let us know why you want MyEclipse Blue on Mac ?

I understand that WebSphere is not supported on MAC. However I am doing the development on MAC now and planning to connect remotely to WebSphere running on a Windows server. My earlier development was on a Windows laptop using the Blue edition. I tried using the Spring edition. However I am running into issues with migration (migration from v10 to 2014) with a generic J2EE 1.4 runtime. Will my existing project files work on standard/professional without any changes?

    Thanks,
    Bhaskar

    Bhaskar,

I see. As Swapna mentioned, we don’t support Blue features on OS X, at this time. I should also add that the WebSphere remote connector has had many issues but is generally not used by our customers, so hasn’t received a lot of attention. At this point, also, there is no remote connector in our 2015 release. In any case, the remote connector would require at least WebSphere client libraries on the client machine.

Would this feature be a “must-have” for you? If so, I’m not sure what to suggest currently, other than deployment via the WebSphere admin console, and using the standard Pro edition tools in MyEclipse.
