If any of the data contains a line break, it causes the record in Excel to be broken up into multiple rows, and tabs in the data cause data in the row in Excel to be shifted to the right by several cells. I found something that seems to be a solution for a different version of MyEclipse, but it isn’t applicable to my version. Can you please let us know which DB you are working with along with the sample data to help us replicate the issue at our end? If possible please also send us the screenshot of the issue to help us get a visual.

I’m connecting to a DB that is internal to my organization. No one outside of my organization is going to be able to connect to it. Replicating it should be very easy though, as it’s extremely consistent for everyone in my org that uses MyEclipse. I’m querying a table that contains several text fields. In one of those fields, the data typically contains several line breaks because it’s used to list several tasks within a project. It also contains several tabs. I’ve included a sample of the output when I copy the results to Excel. Column P – “TASK_LIST” is this problem field. You’ll see that rows 3 – 34 should all be part of the TASK_LIST field, but instead are copied to their own rows. Additionally, the tabs cause each row within this field to be spread across 2 columns. I’ve also included a screenshot of this field as it appears in our database. You can see where the tabs and line breaks have been inserted into the field contents.

Unless you mean which driver template? It’s Oracle (Thin Driver) if that helps.
