    Just upgraded to 2015 and it looks like cutting and pasting from the SQL output window in the data explorer loses the field names as the column heading – they used to be included in 2014…

    Hi,

    Thank you for trying MyEclipse 2015. Sorry that you are seeing this issue.I could not replicate the issue at my end.

    1. Are you working with MyEclipse 2015 Stable release 1.0 ?
    2. Can you please send us the screenshots of the issue to help us get a visual and investigate further ?

    Not sure if screeshots will help!

    Yes, I am using 2015 Stable 1.0

    I ran some SQL to get the output, and then used the ‘copy to clipboard’ button, and pasted into OpenOffice Calc – previously with ME 2014 the first row contained the field names – with 2015 there were no field names?

    I have pasted the output from 2014 below;

    VesselTypeID;Vessel;
    1;Sailing yacht;
    2;Dinghy;
    3;Motor craft;
    4;Barge;
    5;Sailboard;
    6;Canoe;
    7;Jet-Ski;
    8;Multi-Hull;
    9;Rowing boat;
    10;Unknown;
    11;Trailer;
    12;Not applicable;
    14;Motor Fishing Vessel;
    15;Geston;

    and the output from 2015 below here;

    1;Sailing yacht;
    2;Dinghy;
    3;Motor craft;
    4;Barge;
    5;Sailboard;
    6;Canoe;
    7;Jet-Ski;
    8;Multi-Hull;
    9;Rowing boat;
    10;Unknown;
    11;Trailer;
    12;Not applicable;
    14;Motor Fishing Vessel;
    15;Geston;

    You can see the first row no longer contains the field names?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the details.

    Please go to Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Files and Editors > SQL and check the ‘Export column names’ option in the ‘Export to Clipboard’ section.

    You should now be able to copy the column names as well.

    Let us know how it works for you.

    Chris,

    Glad that it worked. The settings are the same in MyEclipse 2014 as well as MyEclipse 2015. By default the MyEclipse 2014 does not export the column names.

    Let us know if you see any issues.
