I’ve a valid myeclipse for spring license. In Myeclipse 2015 (any version installed), is missing the scaffolding option. If I install the 2014 GA version the scaffolding option is available. I’m using the same license for both environments.

How I can activate the scaffolding option in Myeclipse 2015 ?

    fbellomo,

Sorry that you are seeing issues with MyEclipse 2015.

Can you please give us some more details ?

    1. How did you install MyEclipse 2015 ? Using the downloaded offline/online installer or did you update to MyEclipse 2015 CI 12 from an existing MyEclipse 2015 CI installation ?

    2. Can you please start MyEclipse 2015 with -clean args, switch to a new workspace and check if the scaffolding option is available ? Please refer to this FAQ for information on starting MyEclipse with -clean.

    3. If the issue persists, please go to Help > Choose Components and check if ‘MyEclipse for Spring’ is in the Selected list. If yes, then please go to Window > Preferences > General > Capabilities. Click on ‘Advanced’ button and check if ‘MyEclipse for Spring’ capability is checked or not.

    4. If ‘MyEclipse for Spring’ component is installed and the capability is checked, then please right click on the project > MyEclipse and send us a screenshot of the options available to help us investigate further. Also share with us the details of the project, whether it is a web/ejb etc.

Let us know how it works for you.
