Ah yes, named Sunset because of the magnificient sunsets over the Great Salt Lake, no doubt. :-)
Oddly, even though I'm in Texas I've nver been to Utah. Thought about going skiing there a couple of times, but always end up in Colorado or New Mexico instead; don't really know why. |

I share my time between Whitstable, near Canterbury (if you're in Blighty, it's worth a visit!), Kent, UK, and Lille in France (where my girlfriend lives).
60 miles east of London, 40 miles North West of France :? |

biscuit,
Hey you even provided web links! I see you notice that I typically use these postings as a virtual world tour. Thanks for making it easy on me. Both locations look great!
Rox,
Running between Hong Kong, Taiwan and China, huh? Sounds like you're fleeing from prosecution or something. ;-)
That's a booming part of the world for downloads of our product, but less for sales. Funny how that works... |

That got me to thinking, how widespread is MyEclipse. MyEclipse is used in/by:
150,000K+ subscribers
In 130+ countries
In 6000+ companies
Thanks to all over the past few years for the support that's allowed us to maintain our pricing while expanding the product capabilities by orders of magnitude from the initial release.
By the way, thanks also for keeping my pet thread alive. This one has been going since 8/1/2003; may it never be [Closed]! :-) |

So you're up there with one of the IBM labs that helps build Eclipse.

Yep, we've still got Katrina victims and it seems that all of the greater Houston area is going to either Dallas or San Antonio. I've seen some gas lines forming as people fill up, "just in case" and lots of the inbound highways are completely clogged. But, of course, they're all welcome here. |

We are impacted also. Our gasoline prices have spiked already. up from .97 a liter to 1.70 - 2.00 a liter! In USD that's something like $5.50 to $6.50 gallon  |

Ouch! We're whining at $3.00 / gallon. Thanks for the perspective. |

Is that all web-based, or do you also build some Eclipse rich client interfaces for your traders to use? I'm asking because I've heard that such things are going on in the space, but don't have a concrete example. Naturally, if you can't comment, don't. :-)
One of the things I like the most about London is that you're never more than a block away from a decent pub. I never could understand the "close at 11pm" thing though. |
