I need subversion plug-in to get code for a project.

I did not select any of the optional components just subclipse 1.6 from the configuration center. After clicking apply updates the software appeared to download and install fine however MyEclipseForSpring will no longer start. I used “Pulse Explorer” to uninstall the subclipse plugin but that did not fix the problem. Something in the configuration is messed up. There is an error message about “No application Id found”

I found a usefull technique that may getme up and running. I imagine it would help a lot of folks out there to know this.

1. Download pulse explorer from www.poweredbypulse.com.
2. Open pulse explorer.
3. Your profile should be listed under "MyProfiles"
4. Select your profile, right click on it and from the context menu select "Re-install and Run"

It fixed my environment and myEclipseForSpring opens however I still do not have subclipse!
I am afraid to try adding it again.

Just to let everyone know. I was brave and installed Subclipse 1.6 using "Pulse Explorer" and it worked. It failed twice using the embedded configuration screen.

Going forward I am going to manage all updates and plugins through the Pulse Explorer rather than the embeded pulse screen.
