    Scott,

I remember you told me you do consulting work. What is the possibility for you to come and be our guest speaker at our JUG meeting?

This is a JUG that I organized within our company. We won’t be able to pay you for your time, but you can give MyEclipse a plug in the meeting. =)

We are a phone company in Dallas. IT is located in Carrollton. We have programmers in three main departments that use Java….. IT-Applications, Network, and eServices.

If you are interested, we can take it off line for the details.

    Thank you very much.

    simon.

    Simon,

I don’t typically do our public speaking, but we have a couple of very sharp VP’s that do precisely this (well, among other things :-). Please send the details to the support email address and I’ll be sure it gets to the right folks.

If they are as much of a Java guru as you, it will be great.

    Is it support@genuitec.com?

    Thanks.

Well, I’m better in small groups and with the written word than in a big room at a podium. 🙂 Depending on the night, I’ll do my best to attend though.

Truthfully, they both put me to shame. I learned the vast majority of everything I know from them.

That’s the right support email address. I know they’ll ask about how often you meet, if your group has a website, what kind of turnout do you normally have, etc. so any additional info you can provide would be great.
